Baftas-another opportunity to ooo and aaah

So towie won the Baftas?? gotta be honest i only watched it to see the fashion and fake tans, although i was slightly disappointed :/

Beware picture heavy ;)

I absolutely loved Lydia's dress, she stole the show in this number

I was really dissappointed with sam and amy's dresses, amy's dress looked to big for her and looked more like cinders going to the ball rather than the baftas haha

waheey for nana pat you gotta love her

Mr and Mrs Smith, sorry i mean mark and Lauren, all they need is guns haha

aww kara tointon and hannah look lovely :)

not liking mary portas look, maybe without the shoes??

Louis Redknapp looks smart but her cleavage looks really pushed together and the trousers look to long

not liking daisy lowes outfit to be honest the reason for this picture is geek love for matt smith

aah lovely sheridan smith

What did anyone else think?? anyone else notice how mad people were that towie won??

Hope all you lovelies have had a good monday

Benefit Dupe and the real deal..

hello lovelies,
hope you've had a lovely Saturday, ive spent it shopping with the boyf and watching the new pirates of the Caribbean.

So today on my lil shopping trip i picked up a benefit item aswell as a dupe. After reading the lovely Georgia from Lippy and a LBD's post about Savers w7 dupe of Benefits Honolulu i just had to get it you can read her post about it here

With the similar packaging and cute design the W7 Honolulu could easily be mistaken for an infamous benefit blush, obviously not the same quality but for £1.99 you really cant go wrong, the brush that comes with it is also highly similar to. Whilst i was browsing i also spotted Africa which is a dupe of two faced's pink leopard bronzer, sharing the same pattern on the blush itself also for £1.99 i was a happy bunny.

And here they are!!
I had to put them on this background as proof of how similar they really are, and here are the real deals

And on to the real deal, I finally gave into temptation and bought Confessions of a Concealaholic as their was a 10% discount at the counter in Debenhams. Ive sadly not been in posession of any Benefit items after my friend kindly bought me 'big beautiful eyes' in duty free and i managed to lose the dam thing on a night out (i still kick myself for it, and i never bring nice make up out with me anymore)

So the set includes That gal- brightening face primer, erase paste- brightening camouflage, boing 1 and 2- industrial strength concealer, lemon-aid - color correcting eyelid primer and eye bright- instant eye brightener.

As i have really spotty skin this was just perfect for me as a way of concealing my lovely skin ;) and my friend swears by it, i also had to laugh at the fact boing is described as industrial strength haha.

I think one of the lovely things about Benefit sets is the little instructions that come with it!!

a little elf haul..part 2

hello lovelies,

just a small post, ive just received (very quickly) the second half of my recent elf haul, my second lot of choices were the studio cream eyeliner in black, the all lover cover stick in pink lemonade and a foundation brush.

Apologies for the really poor photography skills (embarrassment )

I absolutely love the cream eyeliner, ive been contemplating buying the MAC fluid line, but haven't justified the price for such a little pot so this shall do for now, i was actually really impressed, a really nice thick line was produced and i didn't have to use much product at all. I also loved the cover stick, its a really nice shiny pink, however i was slightly gutted at how little was in the stick itself, but for £1.50 you cant really go wrong.

Sorry about the swatch being a bit blurred i couldn't focus the camera, heres some better swatches off the website.
Altogether from both my hauls from elf i have been really pleased, the delivery has been really fast and efficient, and the items are of a really good quality for the price, So whats everyone else's thoughts on E.L.F??

My next investment may be an eyeliner brush as the one that came with this liner was slightly on the small side!!
Also thank you for all the lovely followers i seem to have acquired :), it makes my day reading all the lovely comments from everyone!!

a little elf haul..part 1

hello lovelies,
Dont you just love receiving little parcels, after seeing all the lovely blogs this morning im half tempted to invest in the glossybox, the thought of receiving a little parcel as a surprise each month sounds exciting ;) haha.

Anyway shockingly i have never ordered from E.L.F before (i know totally shocking), but as i have heard both good and bad things about them i thought really carefully about what i ordered. Ive only got half the stuff so far as the minute i had ordered a few other bits and bobs caught my eye ( so expect another blog to follow)

So heres what i received this morning (i feel sorry for Mr postie he's had to deal with a lot of parcels between me and my boyfriend lately)

So my choices were (from left to right) studio blush in tickled pink,  studio eyebrow kit in light and the studio bronzer in warm.

Apologies for no swatches the colours didn't seem to come out very well, however im stupidly one wandering around with blush on one cheek and bronzer on the other, however i have got the swatches from online.

i really like the blush its a nice doll like pink and the bronzer i think will be great when i have a bit of a tan in the summer.

Im happy with my purchases although im not overly thrilled, but for the price their really nice :)

ive wanted benefits brow zings for a while so the studio kit shall have to do for now, however it does look like a slight dupe to the real thing
