Hello lovelies, hope your all having a lovely week!! now i bet your thinking this post is about the recent royal wedding of Zara Philips or something along the lines of Kate Middletons wonderful style but nope!! Im in a bit of a kerfuffle, about three years ago i religiously went to the gym, raised money for charity, helped build a school in Romania and climbed the wicklow mountains like a trooper, why you may ask?? to achieve my gold duke of Edinburgh Award..now all this time has past and everything has been signed off, i have now been invited to St James Palace where i shall meet a member of the Royal Family, and receive my award from a celebrity of some sort (not really counting my lucky stars for the bronze it was some random women who had climbed a mountain)..so heres where i need your help..i need to dress smart but i dont want to look to dressed up and i dont want to look to dressed down :S ..see my kerfuffle?? haha
these are the ideas i have so far but any help would be very very grateful :)
Okay so in a way this post is about Kate Middleton, as i want something along the lines of these looks of her, they seem casual/smart as well as classy :/ what do you guys think??
i love this dress from Monsoon but i dont know if its a bit to prom??
same with this outfit i love it but i think it might be to dressy
these last two are my faviourite they seem simple but dressy
So what do you guys think??
to end this post you gotta love weheartit ;)
Well done on getting your Gold DofE! I think you should go for the black and white dress. Elegant, dressy yet not too over the top and you can wear it to so many things! x
ReplyDeleteCongratulations :)
ReplyDeleteI like the monsoon dress. My friend had it for her 21st bday meal. it was quite a smart occasion and she looked gorgeous but she also wouldnt look too posh for a family meal, wedding, christening or a bit of a fancier night out. just about teaming it with the right accessories :) it is a gorgeous dress! but i also agree with Tamsin that the back and white is ver elegant, just be careful with the length (im not sure how tall or petite you are) x
