Hey lovelies, wow it feels like forever since ive done a NOTD of any sort.. after seeing several reviews on Revlon's Facets of Fuchsia i decided that i needed this beauty in my collection!!..i dont know what it is with me lately but i am a total sucker for anything glitter related (maybe its just my inner child telling me its nearly Christmas??)..Now i have one massive problem with glitter polishes and that is that i always seem to need loads of coats to get the look i want (often ending in smudgy nails), quick chipping and endless scrubbing of the nails with nail polish remover to get the dam thing off!! however this beauty seems to be different!!
after reading a few posts on glitter polish i decided to listen to peoples views and apply a thin coat of clear polish before applying facets of Fuchsia!! unlike most glitter polishes this lovely seems to have a black undertone, so theres no need to apply another colour underneath as a base!! to get the colour shown on my nails below, i applied three coats, but this is just personal preference, so two really would be enough!! i then applied Barry M's clear top coat and three days down the line theres been no chipping (happy Sophie)
Altogether im really happy with this polish, and for about £6ish this bottle will last for absolutely ages!!
Have you tried this polish?? what did you think of it?? any other glitter polish gems out there??
This is so pretty! I love revlon polishes but I always find them a bit expensive :( xxx
ReplyDeletei know what you mean! its the first time ive ever bought one of their polishes, but it seemed to be cheaper than normal so i dont know if it was on offer :S but it was such a lovely colour i couldnt resist haha xx
