lusting after Chanel

Hello lovelies i hope you've had a good tuesday, i have had a bit of a lazy day which spells trouble as i have been   sat browsing the internet and looking at blogs of all things makeup :)
I have a ever growing list of things that i love and want haha (doesn't everyone?) 


Anyway I have been searching all things Chanel recently, two years ago i purchased Chanel les 4 ombres in mystic eyes in duty free whilst on holiday, being my first and only Chanel item i was very excited and have continuously worn it however, after being my trusty companion and my go to shadow sadly i have hit the pan on three out of the four shadows :( ..therefore I want to replace it with another, only problem is it being so darn expensive.

Here they are, it doesn't look it but i only have the top left shadow left :(

 I desperately want the Urban Decay naked Palette as i am shockingly one of the few who does not own one :O and i have heard so much good things about it, therefore I have been distracted by the  Chanel summer collection and after much raving by other colours about the nail polish and bronzing powder im slightly spoilt for choice.

What do you guys think should i get the Naked Palette or get another Chanel quad??

Any suggestions of what to get from the collection??

30 Day Challenge..Day 8 & my NOTD

hello lovelies i hope you all enjoy your tuesday, so my question for day 8 is a photo that makes me laugh and here it is

I have loads of photos that make me laugh but i think this is one of my faviourite, its me and my friend Ben rocking out to something at the sixth form ball (2009), i think i love it so much because we didn't realise it was being taken, i have another faviourite from the same night of me, my friend and an old teacher i had in school, we kept on taking photos and failing so he decided that we needed to have a confused look photo (believe me its brill but i dont think he would appreciate it on here) 

So on to my nail of the day!!

i recently bought Models Own Pearly queen as i wanted to try something subtle compared to my usually bright nails.

Its a really lovely as the name says pearly colour however i felt like it was a bit to plain for my liking so i decided to do a French manicure with pearly queen as a top coat and here it is:

I dont think my pictures do the colour of pearly queen justice

With modelsown i also used maybeline colorama in french white and ballerina, usually if i do a manicure my nails dont last and chip really easily, however as all modelsown polishes the polish just stays and i have had this for four days now with next to no chips :)

Anyone else tried Pearly queen?? anymore modelsown colours anyone suggests??

30 Day challenge..Day 3 to 7

hello lovelies, sorry for the second post today, had a hectic week so my posts are a bit all over the place :( so i decided to do days 3 to 7 together as i haven't got around to doing them each day


so on to the questions 3. your favourite headband


okay so im not really a fan of headbands, the reason being they never seem to look right on me :S so any suggestions on making them look good would be much appreciated :)..i have spotted a few i like on asos, but im more of a flower girl and now its coming up to summer il no doubt have flowers in my hair again, my faviourite has to be a pink orchard from accessorize

4. Faviourite foundation

I really flit from one foundation to the next, my current faviourite would have to be my Mac Studio Fix fluid in nc44, im also loving Loreal's roll on true match however for the price it doesn't usually last to long. however saying this my ultimate faviourite foundation is probably maybellines dream matte mousse, i love the texture and its a foundation that lasts all day with a really good coverage.

5. your faviourite thing to do

I think my faviourite thing to do would no doubt be going to the beach with my boyfriend and my friends, im really lucky to have one down the road from me :)..

6. Faviourite Perfume

this definately has to be dkny in be delicious, I was given it as a Christmas present from my boyfriend and what an awesome choice, it smells of apples and it also has a floral scent to it, ive used it practically every day and i still have quite alot of it left 

7. your faviourite Animal

My faviourite animal without a doubt is a cat, I have two cats of my own Bill and Ben and my boyfriend has just had a kitten Bella, they are just really friendly creatures, and my boys in particular have quite human characteristics about them haha

Laurens Way..is definately the way!!

hello lovelies hope your all good and enjoying your Monday!!

Now i have actually got around to doing my post on Lauren Goodger's new product. Its safe to say that i gave into the hype and purchased this beauty. Im slightly cynical when it comes to fake tan because nothing ever seems to work, but after my friend hyped about it on twitter i thought i would give it a chance. 

However i am absolutely in love with this product, i picked the lotion just to be safe. usually using gradual tans you cannot really see how much of the product your putting on, however with Laurensway theres a subtle instant tan ( although beware it looks slightly scary and black when it comes out of the tube). I think i had it on about an hour or two and i began to form a really lovely bronzed glow, it wasn't orange at all which i was worried about it was just a really nice holiday glow.

Pros- Its really easy to put on, i just used a hand mitt to apply 
         It smells really nice, an almost cucumber smell, and it didn't seem to have that usual fake tan smell


Cons- It didn't really last that long, the next day i showered and i was surrounded by green (yes green) water :S, hence why i sadly have no picture for you lovelies 
the other con was not so much the product but delivery, at a steep £5 delivery charge i expected it to be quite efficient a day or two later my item had been dispatched which was all good however well over a week later there was still no show, so i emailed them to be told that they would dispatch it in first class (so whether they had originally dispatched it at all i dont know) ...luckily it then arrived about two days later, so i kind of have mixed views on that one, but customer service we really polite and helpful.


Altogether i was really pleased with the outcome of the tan itself and i will definately be using it again, sorry for the lack of a photo i shall try to do another post when i get round to applying it again!!


Has anyone else tried Laurensway?? also does anyone have any suggestions for a cheaper alternative i could try??

Stylish Blogger Award!!

Hello lovely ladies, so this is my second post of the day, but it is down to the gorgeous Amelda from Close Up Make Up Artistry who kindly gave me the stylish blogger award. I know loads of you lovely bloggers have received these but im so excited as its my first award since i started blogging about a month ago, it makes my day when i receive all the lovely comments and its nice to know im not just rambling to myself haha...

So here are my facts, i hope they dont bore you to much,

1. So i come from pembrokeshire in Wales (for anyone wondering its right at the bottom of the map), and i study in Bath (a degree in Philosophy and Re) 

2.I have always loved make up and fashion since i was tiny putting on my mums shoes and wandering around the house, and stealing her lipsticks at any possible chance ;) which also led to my love of dance, ahh i miss the old Ballet days haha

Me as a tot, loving the shades haha 

3. I have an amazing boyfriend Tim, we've been together nearly two years, and no matter how cringey it sounds he really is my best friend!!

4. I have been pretty lucky, and have been able to travel to some awesome places, i helped to build a school in Romania  traveled to Peru and went on an art trip to New York.

5. I absolutely love photography and all things arty i think its why i love writing a blog so much, because you can just be really creative, im often referred to as Snap Happy

6. Omg i love all things trash TV , the week isint right with out the real housewives and towie and the hills 

7. I'd love to renovate houses and be an interior designer, i love looking at run down houses and imagine what they would look like all done up, each one would include a Carry Bradshaw wardrobe though ;) 

So theres 7 facts about me, ugh im so boring haha

30 day challenge..Day 2

Hello lovelies, i hope your all good :) right so its day two of my 30 day challenge, ive got to be honest i can see myself doing them all in one go at some point haha


Day 02 — Your favorite purse/bag that you own


I have way to many bags and purses but i think my faviourite has to be my next black feather bag it just seems to go with everything, it is a slightly over sized clutch with feathers, with a diamante detail on the top with a plain back, i think i love it so much because its like a Mary Poppins bag, on night i had a pair of flats, makeup, my purse, my camera and my cardi fitted into it, impressive hey

I just looked online to see if its still available, and it is at £25, i soon to have a new faviourite, but i shall leave that for a future challenge post, whats everyone else's faviourite bag??
