June In Pictures

Nothing beats cute home accessories with a well placed bow. Vibrant pink peonies. A Chanel kinda Birthday, the boy definitely did good. Over indulging in Next Homeware. Reminiscing about Paris. Birthday afternoon tea at The Grove. Obsessing over Jo Malone's Silk Blossom, mmmm. Macaroons and Sunshine. My beautiful Bridesmaid's bouquet from my Best friends wedding.

Monthly Roundup | April

01. GlamGlow Super Mud Treatment Mask (here) The start of the month saw me sing the praises of what I can only describe as a miracle in a pot. A skincare hero that will banish all complexion woes and tackle those pesky spots once and for all.

02. MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquers (here) After months of searching but to little avail, I finally managed to get my mitts on a purse friendly dupe for the sought after Lime Crime Velvetine Liquid Lipsticks.

03. Spring Staples (here) With Spring in full swing, the time has arrived to give my makeup a well overdue shakeup. This month I welcomed lighter bases paired with a Spring appropriate pop of colour.

04. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushers (here) With Tarte now available within the UK, I thought it was about time I gave my two cents on the highly sought after blushers.

05. Bath & Body Works Haul (here) Finally, during her recent trip to Oman, my fabulous mother managed to track down a Bath & Body Works in Muskat City Centre. Upon her return I was greeted with a rather large bag of goodies.

Spring Staples

So spring has officially sprung. The nights are at last lighter, the days a little brighter and all the flowers are in full bloom. With warmer weather on the horizon (heres hoping), the time has finally arrived to give my makeup a well overdue Spring shakeup, as I bid farewell to high coverage foundations and deep berry tones and welcome in its place, a lighter base paired with a Spring appropriate pop of colour.

For base, I have been reaching for the Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme. A light coverage, fuss free beauty balm that creates a beautiful flawless finish, whist still looking natural. Lately I have been pairing this with the ultimate complexion perfection ingredient, Chanel Les Beiges. A lightweight, velvety soft powder that has become a firm staple in my makeup bag thanks to its wonderful ability to prevent me from becoming an oily mess. Add to the already perfect mix, a few sweeps of serious radiance, aka Guerlian Meteorite Pearls and your good to go.

Recently my beloved Tarte Park Avenue Princess has been pushed aside in favour of a more season appropriate splash of colour. Enter Tarte Tipsy, a super pigmented, long lasting, easy to work with blush and the ultimate companion to Tanya Burr's Picnic In The Park. A subtle, pinky coral gloss perfectly suited for Spring.

Finally for eyes, I have been keeping things simple with this effortless shimmery pink nude from The Body Shop Chocolate Box Shimmer Cube Palette, along with some serious lashings of Benefit's They're Real Mascara.
What are your go to Spring Staples?  photo sophiesignature_zpsa3420772.png

Best of 2013 | Makeup

Its crazy how much tastes change within a year. When I wrote my 'Best of 2012' post way back in January, my go to products included EOS Lip Balms, a Jack Wills Lipstick and the infamous Nars Orgasm. Fast forward 12 months and the sea of bright pinks have been replaced with daring reds and blushers have been pushed aside for bronzers (hello Tarte's Park Avenue Princess). With this being the case it will come as no suprise that only one product from last years post has made the cut.

YSL Shocking Mascara (review here)
2013 saw me purchase a fair few mascaras (what can I say Im anything but loyal to them). Yet I find myself going back to YSLs Shocking Mascara time and time again (typical its the most expensive eh). This luxurious, long lasting, lengthening mascara may not be 'the one' but it comes pretty darn close.
Runner Up: Wet n Wild Mega Length Mascara

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers (review here)
Hailed as dupes for several high end lip products during its release, its hardly suprising that the Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers went down a storm with beauty addicts. Apocalyptic a pigmented bright pink shade has regularly made its way into my day to day makeup routine since I purchased it back in January.                                      Runner Up: Chanel Jalousie

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (review here)
Iv'e said it before and Il say it again, no matter how many times I stray away from Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (DoubleWear is the usual suspect), I always find myself coming back to it. I cant rave enough about this light weight and long wearing gem.
Runner Up: Estee Lauder DoubleWear

Barry M Nail Art Pens (review here)
In the summer I went gaga over Barry M's Nail Art Pens (these are ideal for nail art novices). These fuss free pens will help to create quite simply the perfect manicure. Here's hoping they release more shades in the New Year.

Viva La Juicy La Fleur (review here)
Viva La Juicy La Fleur has been my go to scent this year. Each time I spritz this on my wrist im instantly transported back to my week in Paris with Tim. This beautiful feminine fragrance is the perfect floral yet fruity scent suitable for both day and night.
Runner Up: Viva La Juicy Noir

Maybelline Baby Lips (review here)
The hype over Maybelline Baby Lips may have died down, but personally I still cant get enough of these super moisturising and buttery soft balms. I wont ramble much more about these as I may have gone just a little overboard when they were finally released back in July.
Runner Up: Fresh Sugar Lip Balms

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette (review here)
December saw every blogger and their friend adding the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette to they're Christmas Wishlist's (myself included). This Palette really is perfect from the sleek rose gold packaging down to the seriously pigmented shades. This beauty may be a newcomer but considering it was love at first swatch, it well and truly deserves a spot in my 2013 faves.
Runner Up: Nars & God Created Woman Palette

All I Want For Christmas Is...

Untitled #31

...Several high end beauty products

Christmas; a time for giving, spending time with family, attending endless party's with friends, consuming one too many mince pies, and lusting after the many limited edition gift sets Selfridges, Space NK and Boots have to offer (just me?) Seeing as though I've been oh so good this year (il just keep telling myself that) I've put together a list of luxurious Christmas presents, I would be thrilled to see under my tree. So without further ado, here's my dream Christmas Wishlist.

Lets face it this YSL case is the creme de la creme of beauty gift sets, the ultimate present for any nail polish obsessives even if it does come with a whopping price tag. Theres no harm in dreaming though, right?

When it comes to perfume I am a Juicy Couture girl through and through. So its no suprise that I find myself swooning over the limited edition Viva La Juicy Luxe Parfum (just look at that bottle), however that being said I would be one happy bunny if a bottle of Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir in its iconic cream and black box somehow found its way into my stocking on Christmas morning.

How fabulous is this Charlotte Tilbury Future Vintage, Collectors Edition Set containing a Luxury Eyeshadow Palette, the sought after Bar Of Gold, Mini Charlotte's Magic Cream, Filmstar Bronze & Glow, Lip Lustre in Bardot beige, K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in Penelope Pink and Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillowtalk ... and breath. Now does anyone have a spare £250 floating around?

Finally, I cant help but lust over the Ombres Matelassees De Chanel Eyeshadow Palette (what can I say im a neutral eye gal through and through), and the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette.

What would you love to see in your stocking Christmas morning?!

The Lipstick Tag

Keeping with the Lipstick theme, I thought I would have a go at the Lipstick Tag. It will come as no suprise that I have a total weakness for a good lippy. Im that girl that goes gaga over the infamous sleek black M.A.C packaging, the girl who spends countless hours in Boots swatching every lipstick in sight (I jest), and makes the most of 3 for 2 offers for the sole purpose of owning a limited edition Maybelline Baby Lips. So it only seemed right to dedicate a post to all things lipstick.

How many lipsticks do you own?!
With only one pair of lips I would love to say 5 (a nude, light pink, vibrant pink, red and mauve), however in reality I have around 40.

What was your first ever lipstick?!
Im not sure on the exact shade as the name has worn away over time. But it was a pretty frosty pink from Maybelline. I still actually have the lipstick to this day (pictured above in purple packaging), I no longer use it, but I cant bare to part with it.

What is your favourite lipstick brand?!
So cliche, but I would have to say M.A.C. With such a vast range of shades and formulas (and lets not forget those sought after limited edition beauties) there really is a lipstick for everyone (you can read my collection post here).

What is your most worn lipstick?!
It would have to be Creme Cup from M.A.C, the ultimate every day light pink.

What is your favourite finish?!
I find creamy formulations to be the post wearable, fuss free and easy to apply.

What was the last lipstick you brought?!
Chanel Bondi, a sheer peach coral which I managed to pick up in a blogsale for the grand total of £5

How many lip products do you currently have in your bag?!
As im currently using my Mulberry Lily, I only have room for three, Chanel's Bondi, M.A.Cs RiRiWoo and M.A.Cs Dish It Up. However I usually carry way too many. Please tell me im not alone?

What lipstick do you use to rock a red lip?!
Recently I cant get enough of M.A.Cs RiRiWoo. This beautiful matte red is seriously pigmented and long lasting (it survived a three course meal), making it the ultimate party perfect lipstick.

How do you store your lipstick?!
Although I would love to have them all on display, its more practical to have them stored away in an acrylic box within one of the many malm drawers.

What lip products are you currently lusting after?!
I would love to see Hourglass' Liquid Lipstick in Icon at the bottom of my stocking.

The Princess Tag | Favourite Luxury Beauty Products

So Iv'e decided to do a little bit of a different post today. The Princess Tag (Favourite Luxury Beauty Products) was created by the beautiful Tati from Glam Life Guru. Although Iv'e not actually been tagged to do it, I thought it would be a bit of fun. Lets face it, we all love a good bargain, but theres something exciting about a high end splurge. I know a Lipstick purchase should be based upon pigmentation, shade, ease of application and longevity, but dont you agree when encased within a sleek black MAC bullet, or fancy gold packaging with an embossed YSL logo makes the product all the more special?! So what products leave me feeling like a Princess?!

Foundation -
No matter how many times I stray away from Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (heres looking at you Estee Lauder DoubleWear and DiorSkin Nude BB), I always find myself coming back to it. This lightweight, long wearing, 'your skin but better' foundation, to me is the ultimate everyday essential. You can read my full review here.

Concealer -
For me Collection 2000s Lasting perfection is the creme de la creme of Concealers. However if I were to splurge on a high end concealer it would have to be MAC's Studio Sculpt. This creamy offering applies like a dream, and due to its consistency is perfect for covering those problematic spots. Finish with a setting powder and your good to go.

Powder -
As a sufferer of oily/combination skin, I rely heavily upon powder to keep my makeup in tact throughout the day. Chanel's Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder prevents me from becoming an oily mess. Unlike most powders this velvety soft beauty doesn't leave me looking cakey, infact its so sheer its practically unnoticeable.

Bronzer -
For Bronzer I've chosen Tarte's Park Avenue Princess (how ironic). This gorgeous bronzer has a slight hint of sparkle but doesn't leave you looking like a disco ball. Like the blushers, Park Avenue Princess is seriously pigmented, so much so that a little dusting definitely goes a long way. So what makes it the ultimate luxury bronzer for me?! Park Avenue Princess gives a lovely flush of colour without looking orange, or muddy like most (no one wants to look tango'ed right?!)

Blush -
Keeping with the Tarte theme, it will come as no suprise that I chose Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy. This beautiful peach shade is seriously pigmented, easy to work with and long lasting (I seriously agree with Tarte's 12 hour claims). The fact that Tarte products are hard to get hold of in the UK makes this blush all the more special.

Highlighter -
Tom Ford's Shade and Illuminate is the ultimate luxury product. The highlighting shade, leaves a gorgeous sheer glow. Aside from the packaging and gulp worthy price tag, what makes it special is that it brightens the face without being overly shimmery.

Eyeshadow -
It will come as no suprise that I opted for the Urban Decay Naked Palette. Urban Decay shadows in general, blow all other competition out of the water. Ridiculously pigmented and buttery soft, whats not to love?!

Eyeliner -
For me, an eyeliner needs to be jet black, super pigmented, long wearing (my eyes are forever watering) and easy to apply!! I am happy to say that I have found all this in Chanel's Liquid Eyeliner. I literally swatched every high end liquid liner in House Of Fraser before i settled on this.

Mascara -
If you've read my posts for a while, you will be well aware that Im forever on the look out for the ultimate mascara. Although Iv'e yet to find the one, that holy grail Mascara that creates the perfect false lash effect, I always find myself going back to YSL's Shocking Mascara. With various sized plastic bristles, the wand makes applying the product a doddle, catching all of the lashes, resulting in a "shocking" fluttery effect. If that isn't enough to make you swoon, YSL's Shocking Mascara comes encased in luxurious gold packaging, embossed with the YSL logo.

Lip Liner -
My one and only high end Lip Liner RiRi Hearts M.A.C Pro Longwear Pencil (RiRiWoo) is a pigmented matte pencil, and the perfect base for bright reds to stop them migrating.

Lipstick -
As a total Lipstick junkie it was really hard to pick just one shade. After much contemplation Kate Spade won. Everything about the designers lipsticks are princess like from the fancy spring loaded gold packaging to the name "Supercalifragilipstick" (oh how whimsical). Fuchsia Fete is a fabulous wearable, sheer bright pink, with a smooth, moisturising formula, and balm like consistency.

Lipgloss -
Never before had a lipgloss made the grade, until Chanel's Jalousie's Glossimer came on the scene. Forget poor colour pay off and uber sticky lips. This highly pigmented bright pink is opaque enough to be worn alone or paired alongside Fuchsia Fete.

Brow Product -
Benefit Brow Zings is the ultimate eyebrow shaping kit. With a small compact mirror, pigmented wax and powder, two brushes and a tweezer, what more could you ask for!

MISC -
I couldn't talk about my favourite luxury beauty products without mentioning Chanel's Les Beiges Kabuki Brush. I searched high and low for this  brush after reading Claudia's rave reviews. Not only is it a perfect companion to the Les Beiges Powder (definitely a handbag essential for touchups throughout the day) but it is literally the softest brush I have come across. With chic black packaging adorning the iconic double 'C's this little kabuki screams luxury.

Nail Polish -
This was such an easy product to pick. Chanel's Peridot is the one and only high end polish in my collection. Peridot is a beautiful green/gold duo chrome shade, which reflects a hint of blue in some light. Because of that, this shade adorns my nails for most of Autumn/Winter.

Summer Staples

So Summer has finally arrived, and the weather has decided to behave itself long enough to put away the Winter woolies (I kid you not that I was wearing my trusty Jack Wills Body Warmer well into May) in favour of floaty Topshop camis, vibrant shorts and bright neon flip flops. Sound familiar?! Its safe to say that this has been my Summer uniform for the past month or so!! Aside from the norm, as a serial beauty junkie, the current British heatwave also calls for a makeup shakeup. For me my summer beauty staples must be fuss free and long lasting. Who wants to spend hours indoors applying copious amounts of makeup when you could be lazing in the garden with a good novel and glass of Pimms in hand, soaking up the sun.

For base, I have been reaching for Dr Jart's BB Cream. Not only is it fuss free (a flawless look can easily be achieved with fingers) but it also manages to stay in tact throughout the day with a little help from Chanel Les Beiges. Unlike most powders, Les Beiges is completely lightweight, and leaves a 'cake free' matte finish, no matter how many times it is reapplied, making it a perfect everyday setting powder.

Recently my beloved Nars Orgasm has been pushed aside in favour of Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy. Super pigmented (a little goes a long way), easy to work with, long lasting, and not forgetting the most beautiful peachy pink, its no wonder that its become a firm favorite during the humid weather.

Supposedly designed for 'extreme conditions' I have well and truly been putting Make Up Forever's Aqua Cream Shadow to the test. Believe me when I say that this beautiful shimmery gold DOES NOT budge (after an afternoon splashing around in the sea, it was still in tact) and stays put until my trusty Bioderma comes out at night!! I have been pairing this with my Bobbi Brown Longwear Cream Shadows and Longwear Eyeliner (no matter how cute, no one wants to resemble a Panda now do they?! ha).
Last, but certainly not least, I have been turning to my Urban Decay De Slick Setting Spray to give my trusty staples a helping hand throughout the day!!
What are your go to Summer Staples?!

The joys of Duty Free

Lets face it, sitting in the departure lounge can be a gruelling wait, especially when you know that your a mere flight away from holiday bliss. Luckily as a beauty addict there is the joyous world of duty free to help pass the time. With my birthday fast approaching (am I really going to be 22 tomorrow?!) I decided to treat myself to a few bits and pieces I had, had my eye on for a while!!

Chanel Les Beiges no30
I have been eager to try the Healthy Glow Sheer Powder since it was released a few months back! But with the prospect of Duty Free on the horizon I waited patiently for my trip to Paris to seal the deal, whilst also getting it for a little cheaper.
The MUA advised me to go for a shade deeper than I am in Vitalumiere to help add a natural glow, and im so glad she did. Unlike most powders Chanel Les Beiges is completely lightweight and leaves my skin with the natural, matte finish I desire.

Diorskin Nude Tan BB Cream
After hearing so many rave reviews I couldn't wait to get my mitts on the Dior Nude Tan BB Cream. This new release from Dior claims to enhance an existing tan, whilst still having all the benefits of a conventional BB Cream. I haven't used this yet, so have no opinion, but expect a review uber soon.

Very YSL Travel Palette, Guerlian Meteorites Travel Pearls, Juicy Couture Perfume Minis
I then fell into the 'duty free exclusives' trap and walked away with the Guerlian Meteorites Travel pearls, a set which includes two mini pots of the infamous meteorites aswell as a ridiculously cute brush. Juicy Couture Perfume Minis and a YSL Travel Palette. Personally I think the photos do the talking in terms of the palette, and like all YSL products the packaging is divine. I wouldn't normally opt for purples and pinks but something about the shades screamed out to me (my inner teenage self was ridiculously pleased with this purchase haha)

So there we have it, a sneak peek at my Duty Free purchases!!
Have you picked anything up from Duty Free recently?!

Chanel Foundation Brush no6

Picture this, its boxing day, im curled up on the sofa snuggled up in my new Bambi pajamas with a glass full of Disarona. With Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket I decided to hit the sales from the comfort of my own living room, free from pushing, prodding and crazy sales addicts. My first stop was Harrods, and after much deliberation and a little draining of the bank balance I pressed that little checkout button, within my basket an Anya Hindmarch key-ring (sadly they went out of stock, so I never did get my fix of sweet shaped goodness) and uhh, a full priced Chanel Foundation Brush.
Since the day I visited that fabulous covent garden pharmacy, way back in November when I bit the bullet and purchased Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, I have dreamed about the fabulously soft foundation brush, that the mua used to apply my beloved foundation.
Since then I have been using my Real Techniques foundation brush (which dont get me wrong I love). But with small, dense bristles, I wanted something a little chunkier. Que the much lusted Chanel foundation brush. At £30 I will quite happily blame the purchase on being high with Christmas spirit ( is this acceptable reasoning?? id like to think so ha).
Fabulously packaged, incased within a velour pouch, this beauty screams high end luxury. With a thick plastic (I assume but I may be wrong) easy to hold handle, applying foundation couldnt be easier. With a range of three different types of bristles (see picture above) including smooth feathery like tips aswell as a stiff base, makes this brush perfect for using alongside a liquid foundation, whilst creating a natural 'airbrushed' finish.
My only superficial niggle is that I expected the logo to be engraved. What seems to be a printed 'Chanel' logo, is something that will easily be rubbed off through use.

Whats your must have Foundation Brush??
Have you used this foundation Brush?? if so what did you make of it?

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.. My thoughts

Its been a while since I took the plunge and purchased Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua. So after much use and enough road testing I thought it was about time I gave my two cents on this hyped about foundation. In all honesty Vitalumiere Aqua was an impulse buy whilst perusing the aisles of a fabulous pharmacy in covent garden. With its £32 price tag, in the back of my mind I did question whether it may be a purchase I would later regret, however I listened to the little beauty addict devil within me, thought bugger it and purchased it anyway. Something Im glad I did as this little bottle of loveliness has become a firm faviourite within my makeup routine, resulting in studio sculpt being a little neglected, making its way to the back of my ever growing drawer.
Formula
So as the name would suggest Vitalumiere Aqua is a water based foundation, something that originally caused me to be hesitant with the fear of it being a watery mess, aswell as the concern that it may be unsuitable for my oily/combination skin. But with a little help from Loreal's Lumi Magique, Vitalumiere will last reasonably well throughout the day, and seems to work well with my skin.
Coverage
Vitalumiere Aqua really gives the appearance of a second layer of skin. Light enough to cover problem areas for example my rather rosey cheeks (although concealer is needed for those dreaded spots), yet still easy enough to create a buildable coverage without the end result being cakey. The foundation feels very much lightweight with an overall smooth finish.

Vitalumiere is a great everyday foundation, however for a night out I would rather opt for something else, as I find that the SPF within the formula causes flashbacks in photographs, and lets face it no one wants to see photos of themselves looking like ghosts on Facebook the following morning.
Packaging
In terms of packaging, its Chanel, I dont think I need to justify my thoughts haha. Compact and light enough to carry on the go whilst still being fabulous enough to adorn any dressing table with its CC embossed lid, whats not to love? Another plus with the packaging is that I dont find myself with excess product, like I have done with various other squeezable packaging.
Have you tried Vitalumiere Aqua?? If so what are your thoughts??

Best of 2012

Raiding through my ever growing makeup drawer whilst trying to decipher what my my most used and loved beauty products have been over the past year, made me realise just how much my tastes have changed. Last January I would have picked MAC Studio Sculpt as my holy grail foundation in a heart beat, whereas today I would firmly chose Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.
Ive gone from opting for a neutral lip, needless to say creme cup has been replaced with various shades of bright pink (hello show orchid). As for skincare, I am no longer that girl who would lazily use wilkos finest face wipes and the cheapest cleanser on offer. Gift ideas for him

Gift ideas for him

I dont know about you lovely lot, but I always find it quite a task to conger up original Christmas ideas for the men in my life. I sound like a floozy saying that, but of course I mean for the boyfriend, brother, granddad etc ha. I often feel like presents 'for him' are often unimaginative, ie socks, boxers, deodorant. They may not put a full face of makeup on, or spend all morning in the mirrors like ourselves (this fully excludes my brother, I have never known a man to primp themselves as much as him), but even the men in your lives whether it be husband, granddad or brother  sometimes like a little luxury too. So here's my pick of gift ideas 'for him'.

Box Of Twinkies- what man wouldn't love a box full of american yumminess.
Comic Wallet- Lets face it most men are nerds at heart, with the likes of DC and Marvel being all the rage, hopefully this little gift will make you their hero *que the tumbleweed*.
Topman Geek tee- So the female version of this tee has been doing the blogging rounds lately, and with good reason. This version is just as nice in my honest opinion, a perfect choice for the fashion forward guy.
Call of Duty Black Ops 2- Need I say more, whether 15 or 50 most men have some form of console in their lives (I swear they never grow up ha).. so why not treat them to the latest craze, and be prepared to be ignored (or on the other hand keep them quiet) for hours
Ipad Mini- Okay this is a slightly extravagant purchase, but after living with a dad whos obsessed with electronics for the past 21 years aswell as a brother and boyfriend whom have to have the latest gadget/widget, I know this would go down a storm with most.
Chanel Deodorant- I know I mentioned deodorant at the start of the post, but I think this one is a perfect example of a little male luxury. My mum tends to purchase this for my brother most Christmas/birthdays, being the pamper obsessed (I will not lie ive known him to use my face masks ha) this present never gets old, and its something he enjoys that he would not necessarily splash the cash on, for himself.

What gifts will you be purchasing 'him' this Christmas??

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua

When it comes to my makeup routine I have been a one foundation only kinda girl for a long time, staying faithful to my beloved MAC studio sculpt, with the exception of Dr Jart's BB cream on occasion. For a good year or so Studio Sculpt has been enough, however my needs have changed so with a heavy heart and a slice of my bank balance I decided to bite the bullet and leave my fuller coverage studio sculpt behind in favour of a lighter, more grown up (if that's even possible) foundation in the form of Chanels Vitalumiere Aqua.
Although hesitant due to its water based contents, the minute the MUA applied this to my skin, I knew it was the one, it was the perfect shade, with a lightweight feel and smooth finish. Put next to Studio Sculpt this foundation comes up trumps lasting most of the day without the need for powder. Like all Chanel items, the packaging is cute, yet practical with its CC embossed lid, compact enough to take on the go and although 30ml like most foundations it feels light in comparison. The small nozzle also makes it easy to dispense  the foundation, without having an oops moment and emptying the whole bottle (OK that's a slight exaggeration but you catch my drift!).
Ive had Chanel Vitalumiere in my mitts for merely a week so I cannot fully judge this beauty, but expect a catch up review uber soon!! The only downfall I have already noticed is the £32 price tag, but for such a fab foundation that's also aesthetically pleasing, I think I can see past this little blip!!
Have you tried Vitalumiere Aqua?? What are your thoughts??

Thinking of winter..

Top 5 'fall' Nail Polishes
If I said that I wasn't a smidgen of a bit excited about the prospect of Winter, then I would be growing a nose resembling that of Pinocchio. Gone are my student days which entailed waiting for the bus in the pouring rain, along with the ridiculous consumption of vanilla Chai lattes with Abby to keep warm (something I will sorely miss)..Instead this winter im dreaming about gorgeous knit jumpers, snuggling up on the sofa in a onesie with a giant mug of hot chocolate in hand, aswell as plenty of christmassy shopping trips. So what better way to get into the fall spirit than through a splash of autumn shades in the form of nail polish.
Models Own 'Pinky Brown'
If Autumn could be sucked up and placed inside a tiny little nail polish bottle then this beauty would be the result.
Revlon 'Facets of Fuchsia'
surely a sign of 'fall' is a perfect excuse to wap out a bit of sparkle?
this is without a doubt my faviourite glitter polish, and a perfect shade for Autumn.

Chanel 'Peridot'
The one and only high end polish in my collection. probably one of the most worn shades last winter, i think a similar pattern will follow this year. I love the different shades this polish catches in the light, simply gorgeous!

Nails Inc 'Victoria'
This is such a gorgeous shade! Although it looks a somewhat dull reddish brown in the bottle, once applied (with just two coats) the nails are left a gorgeous mauve shade. I love how sophisticated this polish is (this may just be my opinion), in fact this shade reminds me of the shades Lauren Conrad adorned during the days of The Hills (If its good enough for Lauren right?)

Nails Inc 'Jermyn Street'
A gorgeous deep nude shade, perfect as a base coat for all the glitter polishes that will adorn my nails over the next few months!!

What polishes are you loving for 'fall'??
