Physicians Formula.. Rose Happy Booster Blush

When i wrote my wishlist many moons ago on what i wanted to get my mitts on whilst in the big apple, this blush from Physicians Formula was high up on the list, after hearing rave reviews i had high hopes for this 'happy boosting blush', and although its nice i would not say its the best blush ive ever tried.

So what does Physicians Formula have to say?..:

  • Ultra-soft and blendable blushing powder features a fresh and vibrant mix of blushing tones infused with a pop of color to create a healthy glow.
  • Multi-reflective pearls provide a soft iridescence to highlight contour and add radiance to cheeks.
  • Infused with our Happy Boost Blend, featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extracts which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress.
  • The sweet scent of Violet provides a feeling of joy each time you apply.
In the pan, this blush looks gorgeous with 3d hearts in an array of pinks, my biggest gripe is that the colour pay off isint that great, the picture above is after heavily swatching a few of the shades within the pan, however that said once swirled together and applied it leaves a lovely natural look.
So Physicians formula claim that this blush is meant to create a happy effect!! i cant really say ive noticed any of this, but if anyone else had had any 'happy' effects i would love to know. However i suppose looking at a pretty blush leaves us make up addicts feeling happy, right? ha

I absolutely love the packaging for this blush, yeah okay it might be metallic and pink, but to be perfectly honest tackiness aside, i love it. The blush lifts up to reveal a mirror and brush underneath which i think is a brilliant touch. Yeah okay the brush isint the best but its cute none the less. And to top it all off the blush smells nice.
So altogether, although a nice blush, its not anything amazing, but a cute little addition to my collection none the less. I paid $14 for this, however it can be picked up from the likes of amazon and eBay.

Have you tried anything from physicians formula?? if so what did you purchase, and what did you think??
