New York Day 3.. living the sex & the city life

designer heaven on 5th avenue / trump tower / central park / a trip to Tiffany's / pullitzer fountain (scene from many a sex& the city episode / NYPD / pleasure chest / buddhakan / cosmopolitans / cupcakes / magnolia bakery / swooning over Jimmy Choo / grand central station / times square / empire state / view of Manhattan

Hello lovelies, so day two of our trip to New York was very much a girly one (much to tims dismay ha). the day started off with a walk through fifth avenue whilst admiring all the designer shops that we could not afford to go into ha, we then had a stroll through central park, my word it is massive, the two hours in which we were wandering a swear we did not ever cover a quarter of the beautiful park!! its amazing how such a busy city has such a vast space of tranquility with such breathtaking views. after a quick stop outside the pullitzer fountain for a photo opportunity we embarked on a three hour sex and the city tour. seriously girls if any of you are off to the big apple i seriously advise this tour, i (along with Tim shockingly) laughed for the full three and a bit  hours, we had a brilliant and gorgeous tour guide who took us to some memorable sex and the city hot spots which included the pleasure chest (where the girls *ahem* purchased there rabbits) buddhakan the gorgeous restaurant which is the scene of Carrie and Mr Bigs engagement party. we sipped on cosmopolitans from O'Neills, shared cupcakes from magnolia bakery and saw some fabulous sights from soho to the meat packing district!!
after a somewhat girly day we finished the evening with a trip to the empire state. In all honesty i found this a stressful experience, once on the first floor you must Que for around 2 and a half hours which includes ticket and security checks (bare in mind we went at a *quiet time* so i would hate to see peak time), we then finally took to the lift to shoot up 60 or so floors to then get to another room, which we qued around half hour before being told that we must climb six storeys (with a woman and her bottom in front of my face the whole way) to finally get to the top to fight for a spot to see the view. of course the view was absolutely magnificent but it was safe to say i wasn't in the best of moods haha. All in all though it was a fabulous day though.

Have you been to the empire state?? what did you think??
