M.A.C Cosmetics | Sharon & Kelly Osbourne Collection

Yep you read that right! Today the fabulous Mrs O announced on Twitter that M.A.C are set to collaborate with the Mother and Daughter duo. If that wasn't enough to get us excited Kelly then went on to post a sneak preview on her Instagram shortly after. According to the pair the collection should be released in June 2014.

My days of yearning to posses every MAC item ever produced may be a distant memory, but I just cant stop myself from swooning over the spoilers (just look at that quad). The colour story is still unknown, but if the vibrant personalities of the reality duo is anything to go by, I can guarantee that it will be a collection not to miss.
What are your thoughts on M.A.Cs latest collaboration?
* A fun Sharon O fact for you (one that swam through my mind the whole time I was writing this) - back in the day, Mrs O would send Tiffany boxes filled with turds to her enemies

Purple Mulberry Lilly

Meet my new arm candy, the beautiful Mulberry Lily. This girl should not be allowed to step foot in Bicester Village. When I paid the Mulberry outlet a visit back in October, I had no intentions of making any grand purchases, however when I saw this gorgeous purple Lily sitting pretty for half the RRP I couldn't resist waltzing out with it.

Il be honest all my senses went out the window (I definitely went with my heart rather than my head), what can I say a bag can do crazy things to a girl. Do I feel guilty for purchasing it?! Oh so guilty, but do I regret it?! Hells no. I would happily live off bread and water for this beauty haha. In all honesty the Lily is not a bag that ever really caught my attention. In my head I always imagined a Bayswater being my first purchase, but there was something about the shade of purple and texture of the leather that caught me hook, line and sinker. What can I say im smitten.

Its not the biggest bag, but theres enough room for the essentials. To give you an idea of size, I can easily fit my Anya Hindmarch Coin Purse and Tory Burch Card Holder (I find my Mulberry Postman Lock Purse to be a little bulky, however it does fit), an Anya Hindmarch Music Pouch (an iPod must), the handbag musts including several lip products (the Dior Creme De Rose balm is a true lip saviour), a customary Bath & Body Works Hand Sanitiser in Smart Cookie, a Louis Vuitton Diary and herbalife Vitamins. For the girl who lugs everything bar the kitchen sink in her Mary Poppins'esque Michael Kors Tote, I suppose the downsize is a good thing.

The craftsmanship of this bag is superb, and the little details are dreamy, from the suede inner lining and Mulberry tree charm on zip, to the little horseshoe keyring and classic Mulberry Lock. It really is a work of art. The Lily has a long intertwined leather chain which makes it a versatile piece. It can be worn slouchy, or doubled up for a shorter style.

I understand that the price tag is a little eye watering, but considering that this is a classic, timeless piece, I am happy (some may say crazy enough) to make the investment. In summary I am in love with this beautiful beautiful bag. If you have any questions about the bag, or my experience at the Mulberry outlet, please let me know in the comments below!!

M.A.C Lipstick Collection | Updated

L-R: Milan Mode (Lustre) | Pervette (Glaze) | Viva Glam Nicki (Satin) | Candy Yum Yum (Matte) | Show Orchid (Amplified) | Saint Germain (Amplified

Creme Cup (Cremesheen) | Altered Beige (Lustre) | Viva Glam Gaga 2 (Amplified) | Whirls & Twirls (Glaze) | Bombshell (Frost) | Creme De La Femme (Frost) | Dish It Up (Lustre) | Heart To Heart | Sinister (Lustre)

Hibiscus (Cremesheen) | Scarlett Ibis (Matte) | Sail La Vie (Satin) | RiRiWoo (Matte) | Love Goddess (Satin

Its safe to say that my M.A.C lipstick collection has significantly grown since I first waltzed out of a M.A.C store clutching my precious Creme Cup over two and a bit years ago (you can read my cringey collection post from two Christmasses ago here). A few days ago I asked on Twitter whether you would like to see an updated collection, and a few said yes, so here it is, my not so little anymore, M.A.C lipstick collection (a girl can never have enough lippie though, right?!)

Before I go any further I would just like to say that im not trying to brag in anyway!! I first started purchasing these beauties back in my Uni days, when I would treat myself to a lipstick each time my student loan went in. What can I say, after rent, food, bills, bus passes etc, it was nice to have a little indulgent treat (man those were the days they cost around £11-12).

In total I have 22 shades (two are are lost in my Mary Poppins bag haha), 16 Limited Edition (what can I say im an advertisers dream), four Lustres, two Glazes, three Satins, three Mattes, three amplified, two Cremesheen's and two Frosts. Although I love each and every shade dearly I have to admit that there are four clear favourites!! Candy Yum Yum, a fabulous neon Barbie Pink, Creme Cup, the ultimate every day light pink, RiRiWoo, a party perfect red and my ultimate fave Show Orchid, a beautiful vibrant blue toned pink.

If you would like to see an in depth post on any of these shades, please let me know.

The Princess Tag | Favourite Luxury Beauty Products

So Iv'e decided to do a little bit of a different post today. The Princess Tag (Favourite Luxury Beauty Products) was created by the beautiful Tati from Glam Life Guru. Although Iv'e not actually been tagged to do it, I thought it would be a bit of fun. Lets face it, we all love a good bargain, but theres something exciting about a high end splurge. I know a Lipstick purchase should be based upon pigmentation, shade, ease of application and longevity, but dont you agree when encased within a sleek black MAC bullet, or fancy gold packaging with an embossed YSL logo makes the product all the more special?! So what products leave me feeling like a Princess?!

Foundation -
No matter how many times I stray away from Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (heres looking at you Estee Lauder DoubleWear and DiorSkin Nude BB), I always find myself coming back to it. This lightweight, long wearing, 'your skin but better' foundation, to me is the ultimate everyday essential. You can read my full review here.

Concealer -
For me Collection 2000s Lasting perfection is the creme de la creme of Concealers. However if I were to splurge on a high end concealer it would have to be MAC's Studio Sculpt. This creamy offering applies like a dream, and due to its consistency is perfect for covering those problematic spots. Finish with a setting powder and your good to go.

Powder -
As a sufferer of oily/combination skin, I rely heavily upon powder to keep my makeup in tact throughout the day. Chanel's Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder prevents me from becoming an oily mess. Unlike most powders this velvety soft beauty doesn't leave me looking cakey, infact its so sheer its practically unnoticeable.

Bronzer -
For Bronzer I've chosen Tarte's Park Avenue Princess (how ironic). This gorgeous bronzer has a slight hint of sparkle but doesn't leave you looking like a disco ball. Like the blushers, Park Avenue Princess is seriously pigmented, so much so that a little dusting definitely goes a long way. So what makes it the ultimate luxury bronzer for me?! Park Avenue Princess gives a lovely flush of colour without looking orange, or muddy like most (no one wants to look tango'ed right?!)

Blush -
Keeping with the Tarte theme, it will come as no suprise that I chose Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy. This beautiful peach shade is seriously pigmented, easy to work with and long lasting (I seriously agree with Tarte's 12 hour claims). The fact that Tarte products are hard to get hold of in the UK makes this blush all the more special.

Highlighter -
Tom Ford's Shade and Illuminate is the ultimate luxury product. The highlighting shade, leaves a gorgeous sheer glow. Aside from the packaging and gulp worthy price tag, what makes it special is that it brightens the face without being overly shimmery.

Eyeshadow -
It will come as no suprise that I opted for the Urban Decay Naked Palette. Urban Decay shadows in general, blow all other competition out of the water. Ridiculously pigmented and buttery soft, whats not to love?!

Eyeliner -
For me, an eyeliner needs to be jet black, super pigmented, long wearing (my eyes are forever watering) and easy to apply!! I am happy to say that I have found all this in Chanel's Liquid Eyeliner. I literally swatched every high end liquid liner in House Of Fraser before i settled on this.

Mascara -
If you've read my posts for a while, you will be well aware that Im forever on the look out for the ultimate mascara. Although Iv'e yet to find the one, that holy grail Mascara that creates the perfect false lash effect, I always find myself going back to YSL's Shocking Mascara. With various sized plastic bristles, the wand makes applying the product a doddle, catching all of the lashes, resulting in a "shocking" fluttery effect. If that isn't enough to make you swoon, YSL's Shocking Mascara comes encased in luxurious gold packaging, embossed with the YSL logo.

Lip Liner -
My one and only high end Lip Liner RiRi Hearts M.A.C Pro Longwear Pencil (RiRiWoo) is a pigmented matte pencil, and the perfect base for bright reds to stop them migrating.

Lipstick -
As a total Lipstick junkie it was really hard to pick just one shade. After much contemplation Kate Spade won. Everything about the designers lipsticks are princess like from the fancy spring loaded gold packaging to the name "Supercalifragilipstick" (oh how whimsical). Fuchsia Fete is a fabulous wearable, sheer bright pink, with a smooth, moisturising formula, and balm like consistency.

Lipgloss -
Never before had a lipgloss made the grade, until Chanel's Jalousie's Glossimer came on the scene. Forget poor colour pay off and uber sticky lips. This highly pigmented bright pink is opaque enough to be worn alone or paired alongside Fuchsia Fete.

Brow Product -
Benefit Brow Zings is the ultimate eyebrow shaping kit. With a small compact mirror, pigmented wax and powder, two brushes and a tweezer, what more could you ask for!

MISC -
I couldn't talk about my favourite luxury beauty products without mentioning Chanel's Les Beiges Kabuki Brush. I searched high and low for this  brush after reading Claudia's rave reviews. Not only is it a perfect companion to the Les Beiges Powder (definitely a handbag essential for touchups throughout the day) but it is literally the softest brush I have come across. With chic black packaging adorning the iconic double 'C's this little kabuki screams luxury.

Nail Polish -
This was such an easy product to pick. Chanel's Peridot is the one and only high end polish in my collection. Peridot is a beautiful green/gold duo chrome shade, which reflects a hint of blue in some light. Because of that, this shade adorns my nails for most of Autumn/Winter.

RiRi ♥ M.A.C Fall Haul

'M.A.C Limited Edition' , three little words that never fail to make me a little giddy at the knees. Three words that often cause me to question my sanity, down to crazy thoughts that usually consist of running to my local M.A.C counter and purchasing every item in stock (with backups), and more often than not causes me to sit at my computer anxiously hitting that refresh button repeatedly, fearing that the collection with sell out the minute it goes live. Please tell me im not the only one?!

M.A.Cs latest collection with Rihanna was no exception. Im in no means a RiRi fan (back in the day perhaps, but that ships long sailed), yet I still found my self sat patiently awaiting 11am last Thursday to get my RiRi M.A.C fix. Some may say im just a die hard M.A.C fan, but in all honesty I shamefully have to admit that im just an all round sucker for fabulous products in beautiful packaging (have I mentioned yet that everything is pink and rose gold?! ooh la la).

Crazy thoughts aside, I think I was pretty restrained, as I only picked up three items. Of course if money were no option, it may very well have been a different story. Oh the shame. Right enough of my ramblings, So the products I picked up were RiRi ♥ M.A.C Lipglass ..RiRiWoo (£15.50/US$16.50) a beautiful creamy cool red. RiRi Woo is opaque enough to be worn alone, or paired alongside its sister Lipstick to create a perfect glossy finish. The gloss itself has a tendency to slip and slide, so to prevent this from happening I also picked up the RiRi ♥ M.A.C Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in RiRiWoo (£16/US$21.50), a perfect companion to the Lipglass and Lipstick. This pigmented matte pencil, is not only a lovely addition, but an essential to stop the Lipglass from migrating.

Finally I picked up the RiRi ♥ M.A.C 282SE Duo Fibre Shader Brush (£22.50/US$32.00), which sadly I have to admit I regret buying. Theres no denying that the brush is aesthetically pleasing, with a pastel pink handle, adorning the M.A.C logo and neon pink RiRi M.A.C signature, and a beautiful rose gold ferule, whats not to love?! However heres where the praise ends. In all honesty for the price tag the brush itself is lacking in quality. The brush is soft, theres no denying that, however the bristles are uneven, have a tendency to shred and in all honesty causes the brush to look a little cheap (for £20 I could have picked up a set of brushes from Real Techniques).

These are obviously my first impressions, so if you would like to see a full review on any of the items please let me know!!
Did you pick up anything from RiRi ♥ M.A.C?!
Are you a sucker for M.A.C LE Collections?!

MAC & Rihanna Collaboration 2013

So this morning, like many other beauty addicts, i logged on to my computer only to be greeted by this exciting photo sitting pretty in my newsfeed.
Lets face it MAC are well known for their limited edition collections, que Disney Villains, Dame Edna, and more recently Archie's girls, as well as their collaborations with the likes of Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj, so it was only a matter of time before they released a collection with none other than Rihanna.

According to Temptalia the above products will be one part of four colour collections, which will be released throughout the year.
What do you think of MACs latest collaboration??

MAC Divine Desire Paramour Pink Kit

Addicted to anything beauty related, its hardly surprising that I was  excited to see MACs Divine Desire kit from the holiday fabulousness collection, sitting pretty at the bottom of my stocking on Christmas morning. Wearable pinks and a gorgeous purple kohl liner, encased within stylish pink satin packaging, finished off with a patent black bow is not only pleasing to the eye, but a perfect addition to any dressing table.
The packaging really is something special, with a satin pouch on the inner lid, aswell as a removable black tray, it could easily be used as a clutch, or to store jewellery etc.

The set itself includes:
Blush Divine Desire
A beautiful cool toned pink, that's highly pigmented and easy to work with. A little definitely goes a long way with this blush, applied too heavily, I can imagine the outcome to be something resembling that of Barbie.
Lipstick Heart to Heart
a soft pink lipstick, Heart to Heart is an ideal shade for everyday use, and a great alternative  to my usual neutral lip (creme cup if you were wondering).
Lipglass Warm Embrace
a subtle shimmered pink is the perfect companion to finish off the look
Technakohl Purple Dash
This liner is such a beautiful shade of plum/purple. I dont tend to stray away from black liners but this shade is the perfect tool to add a pop of colour to the lower lash line
Blush Brush 129SE
The only negative about this set would have to be the blush brush, as the bristles are somewhat scratchy, so I find it hard to work with. That being said it is the perfect size to just throw in a bag whilst on the go.

This kit is no longer available online, that being said there may be a few floating around MAC counters, although im not to sure.
Did you pick anything up from the fabulousness collection??

Party Pigments

One of the many things I love about this time of year is the total acceptance of the over excessive use of sparkle. Out come the sequin clad dresses and heels covered in so much glitter Dorothy would be green with envy. Apart from a handbag here or a collar necklace there, I will admit im a little scared to embrace a fabulously glitzy outfit, so this Christmas to add that little touch of glamour, pigments have been my party sidekick. Used right pigments can add an extra something to a simple look (I say used right as ive seen many a girl adorning a face full of Barry Ms finest baby pink and purple pigments, resulting in a look even Barbie would struggle to pull off, ugh).

My faviourite dressy pigment would have to be MACs Blue Brown, a gorgeous blue toned bronze, its such a unique colour and a great alternative to the traditional smokey eye.
The no7 pigment (the shades unknown as it was part of a set) has just the right amount of sparkle to transform a  basic gold eye! Iv'e been using this alongside urban decay's half baked.
Finally last but not least Barry Ms Dazzle dust in DD97 is a great pigment for any night out, I originally purchased it for a Halloween look, but this lovely black shade with golden flecks has become a firm faviourite in my makeup collection.

What do you think of pigments?? Do you think they add a touch of glamour to a look??

Bichester Village Haul

So on friday the boyfriend and I embarked on a 5 hour road trip to London town (posts to follow). To soften the utter boredom (theres only so much I can take of the same 10 songs being played on repeat ha) I cheekily suggested a detour to the very much hyped about Bichester Village for a bit of retail therapy!!

A gorgeous village set in the heart of the beautiful Oxfordshire Countryside, Bichester truly is a shopaholics paradise (although not the case for the bank balance), home to the likes of Mulberry, UGG, All saints and most importantly the cosmetic company outlet. Although I purchased a fair few bargains I will be honest and suggest that one really needs money and time to make the most of the visit, as although many of the brands are discounted, most are still fairly expensive (boo).
So what did i pick up??

Of course my main objective for stopping by Bichester Village was to study the shelves of Juicy Couture and The Cosmetic Company Outlet. After walking away from Juicy Couture with a ridiculously cute bag, within it two pairs of earrings (at a bargain price I may add), the next stop was to peruse the aisles of the CCO.

The boyfriend actually spotted this Michael Kors and Estee Lauder Collaboration, and I will admit to letting out a little squeal at the site of a gold compact containing 6 shadows and a blush, a lipstick, lipgloss, double wear eyeliner, brushes, and the piece de resistance a gorgeous Michael Kors embossed Cosmetic Case, all for the grand total of £38. Yep you read that right £38. In all honesty Im shocked at the fact these are still available in the CCO as I would have thought they would have been snapped up within the click of a finger, but I cannot complain as this set of utter beauty is now mine (Que evil laugh).
Of all the makeup collections released, the one I have kicked myself for not purchasing an item from was MAC Venomous Villains. This collection was released at a time when I was too scared to stand at a beauty counter for the fear of being pestered (oh how times have changed). So when I saw this gorgeous eyeshadow and lipgloss, I let out yet another squeal of excitement. Recently I have been embracing  the more vampy/ wintry colours and wrongspell and vainglorious fulfilled my needs (aswell as being Disney related, have I mentioned I love Disney?)
I snapped these both up for around £8/ £9 each

Finally, on the way back from London, as a pit stop, and another excuse to shop, we visited the Designer Outlet in Swindon, which I will add was a total disappointment, however I did pick up Golden Lariat from the Wonder Woman collection, aswell as Sinister and a different groove, from the Villains and Liberty London Collections, aswell as a few Ojon goodies for my mum, all for the grand total of £40 which wasn't to bad, for what the items would have originally cost!!

Have you been to Bichester Village or the Swindon Designer Outlet??
if so did you pick up any bargains??

If all my makeup disappeared!!

So whilst reading Laura's recent post not only did it make me chuckle but it got me thinking about the first ten items, if heaven forbid all my makeup disappeared. I don't have a ridiculous amount of makeup but the fair few products that I do have, I will openly admit that I will stick to the same few products on a daily basis and my choices don't tend to vary. As Laura suggested this kinda post really makes you think about the products that are perhaps your holy grail and cant live without items.

1. MAC studio sculpt foundation- i have raved about this on more than one occasion, a perfect foundation that stays put all day

2. Sleek blush (rose gold)- since I managed to get my paws on this gold dust item (and I can see why so), I have hardly touched any other blush, a gorgeous peach toned shimmery number this can be lightly applied for a subtle look, or can be applied a little heavier to create a more dramatic look.

3.MAC refined golden bronzer- the perfect shade for contouring or for those days I fancy a change from applying blush.
4.Bobbi brown long wear gel liner- I purchased this on my recent trip to new York, as I was fed up of liquid liner. a creamy formula, this black as black liner not only makes it easier to create a winged look, but it also doesn't budge all day.
5. Collection 2000 long lasting concealer- apart from the teensy gripe in that all the writing rubs off the packaging, this is the best concealer I have managed to get my mitts on, with its creamy formula and brilliant coverage this baby beats the likes of MACs studio sculpt concealer hands down, and does so at a fraction of the price.

6. real techniques stippling brush- this beauty can be used for a multitude of things, from applying foundation and concealer, to blush and bronzer, i along with no doubt alot of others have a soft spot for this brush, super soft, hassle free and easy to clean, what's not to love

7. urban decay naked palette- I think this choice is pretty self explanatory, eyeshadow palettes have come and gone, but this one has always stayed a firm favourite, which is somewhat evident by the usage shown in the picture above, super soft, super pigmented and with enough matte and shimmer shades to create an abundance of looks.

8. Bobbi brown extreme party mascara- one thing that has been clear since blogging and by the range that have been shown on my blog is the fickleness I have towards mascaras, this is the current mascara that I would definitely pick up first, this mascara defines my eyes by adding volume and length to my lashes

9. MUA clear mascara- this is perfect for keeping my unruly eyebrows at bay, and for £1 it would definitely be one of the first items id purchase if my beloved makeup were to disappear

10. Chanel Jalousie Glossimer- lipstick has always been a daily addition to my makeup routine, completing the final touches of my look, however never before has a lip-gloss made the grade, with the idea of poor colour pay off and uber sticky lips. However Chanel's Jalousie has changed all of this, highly pigmented, brilliant colour pay off and completely colour free this baby would be the first lip product that I would purchase.

What items would you repurchase if your makeup disappeared??
